When to Schedule

The best time for a newborn session is within the first 5-14 days after birth. During this period, babies are typically sleepier, curl up naturally, and are easier to soothe, allowing for those dreamy, peaceful images. However, if you prefer to wait a little longer to capture more eye contact and interaction, we can absolutely plan for that as well!

Where & How

My newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, using soft natural light to create warm, intimate images. I focus on capturing authentic moments—your baby in your arms, tiny fingers wrapped around yours, peaceful naps, and quiet family connections. No stiff posing or artificial props, just genuine love and emotion.

Best Time of Day

For the most beautiful lighting, I recommend scheduling your session between 10 AM and 12 PM when natural light is at its softest. I’ll guide you on the best spots in your home to achieve the most flattering and cozy atmosphere.

A Relaxed & Baby-Led Approach

Newborn sessions are never rushed. There’s always time for feeding, soothing, and snuggles. My goal is to create a stress-free experience, allowing you to simply enjoy these fleeting moments with your baby while I capture them beautifully.

What to Wear & Prepare

Keep it soft and simple—neutral tones, cozy textures, and comfortable outfits work best for a timeless look. I also love incorporating meaningful details like favorite swaddles, heirloom blankets, or nursery elements that reflect your family’s story.

Booking Your Session

You can reserve your newborn session in advance based on your due date, and we’ll finalize the exact date once your baby arrives. I’d love to be part of capturing this special chapter for you!
